Cinnamon Caramelized Bananas & Medjool Dates over Ice Cream

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) nutmeg
  • 2 bananas, quartered
  • 8 Natural Delights Medjool Dates, pitted

Cooking Instructions

  1. 4 scoops, about ½ cup (125 mL) vanilla ice cream.
  2. In a sauté pan, melt together the butter and brown sugar for 3-5 minutes. Gently stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the bananas and dates and remove from heat.
  3. Scoop the mixture over top of vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.

Serve immediately.
