Medjool Dates with Orange and Almond Salad

  • 6 Natural Delights Medjool dates, pitted and chopped coarsely
  • 2 oranges, peeled and separated into segments
  • 1 (2.2-oz.)  package sliced or slivered almonds, toasted


  1. Toss dates and oranges together; sprinkle with almonds.

For a breakfast salad, add sliced banana and a few chopped strawberries or whole blueberries and top with your favorite yogurt.

As an appetizer salad, add shredded lettuce (we think iceberg goes really well here) and a little fresh blue or goat cheese. Serve with an orange vinaigrette made from the juice of 1 orange, a little Dijon mustard, olive oil and a generous helping of freshly ground pepper.

For dessert just add a scoop of your favorite vanilla bean ice cream.
