Date Pecan Syrup
Simmer the ingredients for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, then strain through a fine mesh sieve using a spoon to push the remaining liquid out of the mixture. Simmer for 20-25 minutes more or until the liquid has thickened.
Cocktail
Blend all ingredients until smooth, then pour into rocks glasses. If the mixture is too thick to pour, add a little water until you reach the desired consistency.
