Ingredients

  • 1 cup Natural Delights Medjool Date Strips with Tajín
  • 1 cup California Walnuts
  • 1 cup hot cheetos
  • 1 cup rice chex
  • 1 cup wheat chex
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • ½ cup bagel chips
  • ½ cup rye chips
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Preparation

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 250°F.
  2. Grab a large baking sheet and toss together your walnuts, chex cereal, pretzels, bagel chips, and rye chips together.
  3. Take a small saucepan and put it on the stovetop over medium heat.
  4. In the pan, add butter, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  5. Heat it up until the butter melts completely, and everything mixes together smoothly.
  6. Pour the warm sauce over your chex mixture. Give it a good stir to make sure every piece gets a delicious coating and add to a pan.
  7. Pop the pan in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the snack mix turns golden brown and crispy. Be sure to take it out and stir it every 20 minutes or so, so it bakes evenly.
  8. Once it's done, take the pan out and let the mix cool down completely. Top with hot cheetos and Natural Delights Medjool Date Strips with Tajín.
  9. Store your cooled chex mix in an airtight container. It will stay fresh and yummy for up to several weeks!
