Ingredients

  • 1 Natural Delights Organic Pitted Medjool date
  • 1 cup watermelon
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 1/2 Persian cucumber
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan or Celtic sea salt
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup water

Preparation

  1. Add ginger, cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, edible roses, cardamom pods together and grind them
  2. Add to a pot of water and add rest of ingredients (except for the dates) and bring to a boil
  3. Strain into a blender
  4. Blend in dates
  5. Strain mixture into a jar
  6. Enjoy any way you would like to make your chai!

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
