Chocolate Matcha Smoothie

This plant-based smoothie is sure to cure your sweet tooth while still being protein-packed and nutrient-dense. 


  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 banana, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1.5 cups coconut milk
  • 1 scoop plant-based protein powder (optional)
  • 2 cups ice
  • (Optional) fruits to garnish


  1. In a high-speed blender add all ingredients except for the toppings.
  2. Blend until smooth and consistent.
  3. Transfer into cups and garnish. Enjoy!
