Ingredients

  • 3 avocados ripe
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped
  • 1 garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Optional: 1 jalapeño pepper seeds removed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup Natural Delights Medjool Date Strips with Tajin chopped, plus more for topping

Preparation

  1. Peel and seed the avocados, and scoop out the flesh into a large bowl.
  2. Pour lime juice over the avocados, and mash together with a fork or potato masher.
  3. Add onion, cilantro, garlic, cumin, salt, jalapeño pepper (if using), and chopped Medjool Date Strips with Tajin. Mix to combine.
  4. You can enjoy right or let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving so the flavors can meld together.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies, topped with more chopped Medjool Date Strips with Tajin.
