Ingredients

  • 1½ Natural Delights Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 tsp fresh sage finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • Optional: 1/2-1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp ghee or your favorite cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the dates with a sharp knife.
  2. Grease your hands, then form into about 10 small patties.
  3. Heat ghee on a skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-fry the patties for 3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. Rest for a few minutes, then enjoy warm.
