This Date Focaccia Glazed Donut is sweet and highlights the natural deep caramel flavor from Medjool dates by roasting them as a topping and filling them with a date caramel.

- Focaccia Dough
- 4 cups bread flour
- 500ml warm water
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2.25 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Toppings
- Extra-virgin olive oil for the bottom of the pan and drizzling
- Flaky sea salt to finish
- 25 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon milk
