Trick or treat? These Natural Delights® Medjool Spider Treats are sweet enough to please any ghoul!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 3/4 cups crispy chow mein noodles
  • 8 Natural Delights® Medjool Dates, pitted and halved lengthwise
  • Mini marshmallows (just a few)
  • 32 mini chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment or waxed paper.
  2. Set a medium heatproof bowl over hot (not boiling) water. Add peanut butter and chocolate chips; cook, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in peanut butter.
  3. Stir in noodles until well coated.
  4. Using a soup spoon, scoop out mixture onto prepared baking sheets to make 16 mounds. Top each with a Medjool date half and press gently onto noodle mixture. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
  5. Using scissors cut mini marshmallows into small bits. Dip in melted chocolate and press onto dates to make eyes for the spider. Place a chocolate dipped mini chocolate chip in the center, if desired.

Tip: Once firm and set you can keep these treats refrigerated for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
