Our Favorite Ramadan Recipes & Resources

Written by Natural Delights | Mar 5, 2024

Medjool dates are considered a “blessed fruit” in the Muslim faith and are especially popular during Ramadan because it is common practice to start each morning of the month-long fast with three to five dates and to break daily fast with two or three more dates.  As Ramadan approaches, we want to share our most popular recipes and recommended resources for those celebrating the holiday.

Ramadan Recipes Must Haves

Since Ramadan is a sun-up to sun-down fast, it’s important to get key nutrients first thing in the morning as well as in the evening to sustain energy throughout the day. For Suhoor, or the pre-dawn meal, Medjool dates are an excellent source of natural energy and help to satiate during the day. During Iftar, or the evening meal after dusk, Medjool dates are also incorporated to help break fast and naturally sweeten dishes and desserts. Here are our favorite Suhoor and Iftar meal ideas.
