Brownie Date Bites

 Brownie Date Bites | No-Bake Medjool Date Energy Balls 

 These Brownie Date Bites are rich, fudgy, and naturally sweetened with Medjool dates for a healthier chocolate treat. Made with almond flour, cacao powder, and chocolate protein powder, these no-bake bites are perfect for snacks, dessert, or a quick energy boost. Finished with a dark chocolate drizzle, they taste like brownie batter in bite-sized form while still being wholesome and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Natural Delights Medjool Dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup chocolate protein powder
  • 3 tbs cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate (for the drizzle)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (for melting)

Preparation

Blend the dates, protein powder, almond flour, maple syrup, cacao powder in a food processor until a thick and fudge like consistently is formed.

Roll into bite-sized balls and place on a tray with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave in 20 second intervals. Once melted, drizzle on the brownie date balls.

Place back in the freezer for 10-15 minutes or until the dark chocolate hardens. Enjoy!

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
