With just 5 ingredients and no baking required, they come together in minutes and taste like pure nostalgia. Cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of sea salt bring it all home. You’ll want to keep a batch in the fridge at all times.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup [soaked] Natural Delights Medjool dates (about 10–12), pitted
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Soak dates in warm water for 5 min if needed, then drain.
  2. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Roll into bite-sized balls.
  4. Top with a little bit of cinnamon and sea salt (if desired).
  5. Chill for 15 minutes to firm up and enjoy!

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
