Medjool Date Beauty Bites

These beauty bites are a great energy booster and skin-nourishing snack or nibble. Plus, they’re packed with healthy fats, protein, fiber, skin-loving antioxidants, and minerals thanks to the Medjool dates incorporated.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 Natural Delights pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter or nut butter of choice
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1-2 tbsp protein powder or collagen powder (optional)

Preparation

  1. Blend in food processor until mixed well, form a ball/bite, and roll in hemp/chia seeds and store in fridge.

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
