Spiderweb Date Bark with Medjool Dates and Chocolate

Make a spooky and delicious Spiderweb Date Bark with Natural Delights Medjool Dates, fresh raspberries, and rich dark chocolate. This chewy, fruity Halloween treat features a fun white chocolate spiderweb design and is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!

Recipe by Annessa Chumbley

Ingredients

  • 1 container Natural Delights Medjool Dates, pitted
  • 6 ounces fresh raspberries, rinsed
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • About 1/3 cup white chocolate, melted and placed in a heat-resistant piping bag (for the spiderweb)

Preparation

  1. On a freezable cutting board or baking sheet, place a piece of parchment paper. One by one, separate each Medjool date in half and lay them side by side on the parchment paper, forming a rectangle. Use your fingers to push them all together (but they don't need to overlap).
  2. In a mini food processor, add the fresh raspberries and blend briefly. Pour the raspberry mash over the dates and spread it around, keeping a 1/2-inch border around the rectangle. Place in the freezer for 4 hours, or until completely frozen.
  3. Remove from the freezer and pour on the melted dark chocolate, spreading it all around. Working quickly, make small and large circles using the melted white chocolate. Use a toothpick or knife to pull the circles outward to create easy spiderweb designs.
  4. Freeze again, then slice into pieces. Enjoy!
